MANUFACTURE
It is synthesized by reacting 2-chloropyridine with thiourea in ethanol and aqueous ammonia. The mixture is heated to reflux, facilitating nucleophilic substitution to form the desired product. After cooling, the product is purified through filtration and recrystallization.
