INTRODUCTION
2-Chloroethylamine hydrochloride is a colourless to off-white solid. It consists of an alkylamine attached to a Chlorine atom. It is a member of the Chloroalkylamines. It is a highly corrosive material to both skin and metals thus it must be handled with extreme care.
Manufacture
The synthesis method of 2-chloroethylamine hydrochloride mainly comprises a synthesis method of ethanolamine hydrochloride and thionyl chloride and a synthesis method of ethanolamine and hydrogen chloride.
