Sorbitol 70% Solution is a colorless liquid syrup characterized by odorless smell but slightly sweet taste. Sorbitol 70% Solution is a slow-metabolizing sugar alcohol derived from fruits, corn and seaweed. It’s a sugar substitute found in foods such as frozen desserts, sugar-free chewing gum and diabetic candies.

Manufacture
Sorbitol is obtained from glucose, but preferably from fructose, and via fermentation or catalytic hydrogenation.
