INTRODUCTION
Ammonium dimolybdate commonly known as ADM, is an inorganic compound. It is a white, water-soluble solid and serves as an intermediate in producing molybdenum compounds from its ores.
MANUFACTURE
It is produced by roasting molybdenum ore to obtain its trioxide, which is then leached with ammonium hydroxide to form ammonium dimolybdate. This solution is crystallized, filtered, and dried to yield the final white, water-soluble ADM.
