INTRODUCTION

5-Methyl-1H-benzotriazole is a heterocyclic organic chemical. The compound has excellent anti-corrosive properties due to the presence of three ammoniacal nitrogen atoms. Besides, it also has other applications including synthesis of intermediates for APIs.
